Since 2008 I’ve publicized my campaign work on the LiveJournal platform. LiveJournal was at that time a US owned company. The platform went into Russian ownership some years later. I stayed with LiveJournal because there appeared no reason for me to stop using a site that had served me well.
I cannot however ignore the terrible events ongoing in Ukraine.
And, while I do not in any way associate LiveJournal or its ownership with Russia’s brutal and illegal invasion of Ukraine, I am not comfortable using a Russian owned site as my main platform for News Releases and key campaign updates.
I will not delete content already on the site however will not post there – other than to direct to this site – until Russian forces end their war against Ukraine.
So, moving forward, I will use this site for News Releases and general campaign related information and intend to write more regularly on Substack. Twitter will, of course, remain my first line of communication. Instagram is still a fledgling that I want to grow and I can be contacted via Linked-In.
